Take him to the vet, could not, or it could be something. I have dogs with mouthpieces that there is nothing to fear but our dog had a bump on the lip, which is known as a bad case of cancer. It is best to get it looked at sooner rather than later. Only a biopsy to visit May.

It could be a bacterial infection or a fungus. Ask your veterinarian.
Ignore this love, take him to a vet. It could be something very simple, but the growth of any kind require examination and treatment possible. Good luck, hope all is well with him.
